If you're looking for sun destinations, Bahrain is as good as it gets. Even in January, traditionally the coldest month of the year, the average temperature is heart-warming 17 Celsius. Night temperatures can occasionally dip into single digits in the winter though, so if that's when you plan to travel, do bring some wollies!
